Rochester, MN Animal Protection Society (RAPS)

Welcome! At this site you will learn how to help animals
and save them from being exploited.

For starters...Go Vegetarian! You will save 83 animals a year from intensive confinement, being tortured, being mutilated without painkillers, cruelly transported, and inhumanely slaughtered
(Most animals that are raised for food are cruelly treated. If our beloved cats and dogs were treated that way, there would be a public out-cry and the abusers would be prosecuted!)

(These graphic pictures are meant to provoke a strong emotional response to motivate people to take action.)

Don't take life.
Instead, release birds, fish, wild animals, farm animals doomed to be slaughtered. And also small creatures such as ants and bees. Be diligent in giving them refuge from fear.

-Buddhist Monk
